Barben Bees is a family-run business operating from Vredehoe, Cape Town since 2012.
Jacques and Janet’s mission is to source locally produced honey, some of which is sourced from their own hives. In addition to the honey, they also supply beeswax and beekeeping equipment. They offer workshops on beekeeping and mentor beekeeping enthusiasts. They enjoy having positive conversation around bees, beekeeping, and honey. They are constantly looking at ways to assist in food security.
Hoerikwaggo Honey is their brand with local, pure, unprocessed honey varieties, including monofloral, mixed flora and creamed honey.
