Dried Pearl Oyster Mushrooms


Dehydrated Oyster Mushrooms are great way to store them. Also known as Pearl, Grey or Tree Oyster Mushroom, they are common ingredient in Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisines. These tender fungi are rich source of plant protein. They are low in carbohydrates and contain various vitamin Bs, trace minerals such as Potassium, Iron, Phosphorus, Zinc and Selenium and antioxidants. Oyster Mushrooms have a mild, slightly salty-savoury flavour and can be fried, sautéed, added to sauces and cooked meals without soaking first.

Directions to use: Dried Oyester Mushrooms can rehydrated by soaking in hot water for about 10 minutes. Or can be added dried into your cooking, they will absorb liquid and become hydrated during cooking.
