Frankincense Resin is obtained when the Boswellia Serrata tree bark is carefully incised, allowing the sap to be harvested and air dried. The shape and size of the resin droplets is irregular, colour may vary from pale beige to golden brown and the aroma is somewhat warm, balsamic, slightly citrus and woody.
Frankincense has been traded for thousands of years and was once considered as valuable as gold. Frankincense Resin has traditionally been used in meditation, spiritual practices, incense and ceremonial applications to support grounding and emotional balance, and for various health benefits.

Directions to use:
Burning as Incense: Place a small piece of resin on a lit charcoal disc in a heatproof bowl with sand. Allow the resin to melt and release aromatic smoke. Ensure good ventilation.
Oil Infusion: Lightly crush the resin and infuse in a carrier oil such as jojoba or sweet almond oil for several weeks. Strain before use. Suitable for balms and topical preparations.
Powdered Resin: Grind into a fine powder for use in custom incense blends or ceremonial applications.
Aromatic Warmer: Place a small amount in the bowl of an oil burner with gentle heat to release fragrance with less smoke than charcoal burning.
Bath Ritual: Place resin in a muslin bag and suspend under running bath water to release a subtle aroma.
