Directions to use:
For cooking food: Place the slab over heat (stove or braai) for a period of 25-40 minutes. Remember to heat it slowly so prevent cracking of the slab. Turn the slab and heat a little longer for even distribution of heat.
Place your food onto the slab and cook to desired texture/finish. No salt is required (herbs can be used) are required, as the slab will flavour your food.
For serving: Place the Himalayan Salt Slab in fridge for few hours and use as a serving plate for sushi, appetisers, cold meat and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables etc.
To look after your slab, wash any matter or sticky parts off with a small amount of water. Pat dry and allow to stand to dry for next use. Do not use any soap or detergents whilst cleaning as this will speed up the breakdown of the slab.
