I3C & DIM is a combination of two synergistic products, indole-3-carbinol and di-indole-methane. Both are cruciferous extracts. They work together to enhance liver detoxification, support the production of glutathione and has been shown to alter estrogen metabolism in both men and women. I3C converts cancer-causing estrogen into safe estrogen. Your Wellbeing I3C & DIM combination prevents the progression of hormone sensitive cancers such as breast, prostate, cervical and colon cancers.

Both I3C and DIM are types of antioxidant substances derived from glucosinolates, which are commonly found in broccoli, Brussel sprouts and other cruciferous veggies.
I3C (Indole-3-carbinol) is formed in the digestive tract from glucobrassicin. I3C is quite unstable substance and is quickly converted into DIM by the stomach acid.
DIM (3,3’-diindolylmethane) is more stable than I3C. It gets absorbed in the digestive tract and carried to the liver where it supports hormone detoxification processes, including improving the ratio of healthy-to-less-healthy oestrogen and improving the estrogen-to-testosterone ratio. DIM can therefore benefit both men and women.
