Ingredients:
Amounts per drop:
Potassium Iodide       5mg
Iodine                        2.5mg

Directions to use: Start slowly with 1 drop in some water or juice per day. Gradually increase to 2-5 drops per day.  Of follow your medical practitioner prescription.

Lugol’s iodine was first made in 1829 by the French physician J.G.A. Lugol – it was a solution of elemental Iodine and Potassium Iodide in water.  Lugol’s iodine solution is often used as an antiseptic and disinfectant, for emergency disinfection of drinking water and to replenish iodine deficiency.

Iodine is a trace mineral and an essential component of key thyroid hormones, triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones regulate the metabolic activities of most cells and play a vital role in the process of early growth and development of most organs, especially the brain.
Inadequate intake of iodine can lead to insufficient production of these hormones, which would adversely affect muscle, heart, liver, kidney and the developing brain
