Meridian Herbs Meadowsweet Tea contains 100% pure dried herb. This plant has been used for generations for its pain relief and anti-inflammatory properties. Meadowsweet has long traditional use for treating digestive tract problems such as ulcers, diarrhoea, upset stomach, and acid reflux; pounding headaches, chronic arthritic pain, improving gout, and lowering fever. Meadowsweet Tea has no artificial flavours and no preservatives. Non-irradiated.

Directions to use: Add 1 teaspoon of Meadowsweet herb in 250 boiling water. Cover & stand for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink as a regular tea.

Suggested Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years old:
Drink 1 cup 2 times a day.
Under 12 years old: Drink 1/2 cup 2 times a day.

Did you know?
Meadowsweet contains salicylic acid, a compound known to alleviate pain fight inflammation. Salicylic Acid which was first isolated from the plant in the 1820s-1830s and at the end of the 19th century was synthesised by Felix Hoffmann on behalf of Bayer pharmaceutical company. The new drug was named Aspirin and is still widely used today.
