Sustainably harvested in the springtime, NOW maple syrup is distilled from the sap of organic sugar maple trees grown on family farms. It takes 40 gallons of pure sap to make one gallon (3.79 L) of syrup and each tree produces just 1 quarts (0.95 L) to 2 quarts (1.9 L) of this pure, precious maple syrup each season.
NOW Foods Organic Maple Syrup is Grade A Amber Colour, which has a lighter, more delicate flavour than Grade A Dark Colour syrups.
