Pomegranates are large, round shaped fruits of the shrubby delicious Pomegranate trees. They are delicious and juicy, with sweet-slightly tart taste and bright dark red colour. Pomegranates provide plentul of live nutrients, including dietary fibre, minerals, Vitamin C, and other antioxidant compounds. The inner flesh of the fruits, known as arils, is eaten as is, or juiced. The peel of the fruit can be dehydrated and milled into powder to be used in skincare formulation or as a superfood ingredient.
