The Seedling Vegan Kitchen, run by Marian Cottle, is located on their family farm in the middle of the scenic Schoemanskloof Valley in Mpumalanga. Marian uses fresh veggies from their permaculture garden, and concern for food safety and security has initiated a dehydration project to produce packed vegan meals with a long shelf life that is convenient, nutritious, tasty, and easily transported. Her Red Lentil & Bulgur Salad is a delicious quick meal for 1 to 2 people which can be prepared at the home, office, and even when outdoors.

100g dried, 350g rehydrated
Ingredients: Vegetables (tomato, carrot, zucchini, onion, cauliflower and/or sweet potato and/or butternut and/or green beans and/or broccoli and/or cabbage and/or sweet pepper and/or celery), bulgur wheat, red lentil, mango, currents, vegetable oil (sunflower), garlic, herbs, spices, salt.
Allergens: Manufactured in a facility that uses peanuts, wheat, rye, and barley.

  • No artificial flavours
  • No additives

Direction to use: Empty contents of the packet into a small pot, pour 1 -1 1/4 cup boiling water over, and let it stand for 30 minutes. Bring to boil and simmer for 2 minutes to reduce all moisture and heat through. Enjoy hot or cold.

It is run by Marian Cottle who is a vegan chef with extensive training and facilitation experience in various fields. Her range of packed dehydrated meals offers a convenient, nutritious, tasty and easily transported homecooked vegan foods.
