Sceletium, also known as Kanna or ‘kougoed’, is part of the succulent plant family native to South Africa. It is a revered indigenous herbal remedy that has been used by hunter-gathers and Khoikhoi for generations. It is often used to help with stress and anxiety, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and mood fluctuations. Sceletium has also been found to be a great natural alternative to SSRI’s (Selective Serotonin ReUptake Inhibitors) without any negative side-effects.
