These float valves are used to stop access flow of water through the ceramic filter candles to avoid overflow. The float valve also doubles the capacity of the lower chamber by opening the flow of filtered water when filter water is dispensed. These float valves are designed to fit below the filter candle.

- Materials- the outer layer is made of ceramic porcelain. The interior of the filter contains granular activated carbon ATC media.

- Flow rate: ¼ gallon per hour per filter
- Water sources: tap, well, river, lake, stream can be used. Not for use with salt water.
