Tapioca Flour is by its nature gluten-free, made from dried and ground cassava root. Health Connection Tapioca Flour can be used as an alternative to wheat flour in cooking and baking. For best results mix with other flours according to a recipe. It is also excellent for thickening sauces, soups and stews.

Directions to use: Use Tapioca flour is gluten free baking. Add Xanthan Gum/ Guar Gum as a binding agent to improve the texture and volume of gluten-free baked product.

Did you know?
The difference between Tapioca Flour and Cassava flour is that Tapioca is produced by the extraction of only the starch component from the roots of the Cassava plant. Cassava flour on the other hand, requires the processing of the whole peeled root.
