Red Kidney Beans are type of beans with a kidney shape and a firm creamy white flesh with a full bodied flavour. They are especially good in simmered dishes where they absorb the flavours of the seasonings and other foods with which they are cooked. Commonly used in chili dishes or in bean salads, red kidney beans are also delicious in wraps.

Directions to use: Red Kidney beans can be soaked overnight before cooking to shorten cooking time or can be cooked directly by slowly simmering for 1-1.5hours until soft.
