The Victorian Garden’s bar Soaps offers a natural alternative to the often irritating, petrochemical and detergent based personal care products now in general use. An old fashioned and unique step in the making of Victorian soaps removes excess alkali from the bars, creating a super mild bar soap which can be used even for the most sensitive skin and most soaps are classified as Vegan Friendly (marked with a V), and all soaps are Vegetarian Friendly. Almost all ingredients derive from plant based renewable resources, which are farmed and processed without chemicals, in a sustainable, Fair Trade manner.
Each opaque soap bar is enriched with Shea Butter and one or more cold pressed vegetable oils and fragranced with pure essential oils or flower extracts from indigenous wild African plants. Soft colours are achieved by using organic pigments, dried flowers or natural herbs e.g. Rose Petals, Lavender Flowers, Poppy Seeds, Rooibos leaves, Bran etc.
