Warm Middle Jiao comes from the first Chinese patent prescription “Tai Ping Formulas of welfare dispensary” promulgated by the state in the Song Dynasty. It has the effects of warming the Yang and dispelling Cold, strengthening the Spleen and Qi and restoring the Spleen and Stomach function. Mainly used for the symptoms of abdominal cold and pain, angina pectoris, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, which caused by Cold Evil injury to the Spleen and Stomach or Spleen and Stomach Deficiency and Cold. For example, chronic dyspepsia, ulcerative colitis, chronic diarrhoea, watery diarrhoea caused by cold or eating cold, no anal burning sensation. Chinese medicine diagnosis of Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Syndrome can be treated with this prescription.
