Indian Black Salt is a mineral salt from the volcanic rock with a distinctive sulphur smell and umami taste. Traditionally Black Salt is made by heating up the rock salt in a furnace together with charcoal and selected herbs and spices. Resulting in a  transformed salt that has a smoky pungent taste and has been recommended by Ayurveda practice for its benefits on the digestive tract. Good Life Indian Black Salt (Kala Namak) is free of any additives and makes an excellent flavour enhancer to eggs, tofu, and vegetarian dishes.
