Magnesium bisglycinate chelate* [TRAACS™] provides 100mg of elemental magnesium (buffered with magnesium oxide), which allows for easy absorption. Buffered magnesium increases the pH (alkalinity) of the formula, making it more gentle on the gastrointestinal tract.
The TRAACS™ name is born out of many years of extensive research and is reflective of the unique technology which ensures that minerals are easily digested and well absorbed, stable, and well tolerated. The amino acid glycine (which is an essential nutrient) is bound to the mineral to achieve a highly bioavailable form, even in low acid environments commonly found in a compromised gastrointestinal system. Furthermore, its solubility and stability are proven within the usually high-acid environment of the stomach. Glycine forms a highly stable bond with the mineral within the GI tract and is easily recognised and absorbed by the body.
