Arrowroot Powder is a vegan friendly thickener similar to corn starch. It is derived from a tuberous plant, native to India & Central Americas. Arrowroot powder has neutral flavour and is the easiest starch to digest. Sally-Ann Creed Organic Arrowroot powder can be used for thickening soups, sauces, stews and gravy, in puddings and as flour in gluten-free baking recipes.

Ingredients: organic, non-irradiated Arrowroot powder

Directions to use: Mix 1 tbs Arrowroot powder with a little cold water to thicken 1 cup liquid. 1 tbs Arrowroot powder, mixed with 1 tbs Olive oil and 1/4 cup water may be used to replace 1 egg in egg-free recipes.
