Bergamot essential oil is a cold-pressed essential oil extracted from the rind of a Bergamot orange fruit. It is a common flavouring ingredient and top note in perfumes. The scent of Bergamot essential oil is similar to a sweet orange peel oil but lighter and with a floral note. Bergamot oil is believed to hold many therapeutic benefits including lowering blood sugar levels, promoting good cholesterol, reducing fatty deposits in the liver, improving skin conditions and alleviating fever.

Directions for use: Bergamot Essential Oil can be used in burners, diffusers, bath water, or added to body, hair and facial beauty products.
Place 1-2 drops into an oil burner for aromatic properties.
Place 1-2 drops into a 100ml carrier oil of your choice for topical use. Mix well, then apply evenly and sparingly.
Apply to the feet before bedtime or use with any carrier oil of your choice for a calming and relaxing massage. Fractionated coconut oil works best. Add one to two drops to your DIY skin care cleanser.
