Freshly harvested Organic Butternut from Heirloom Foods farm. Butternuts are winter vegetables, rich in antioxidants, dietary fibre, vitamin A and C and Potassium. They can be juiced, cooked in casseroles, soups & curries, incorporated in dessert and smoothies or simply roasted with some coconut oil. This beautiful deep orange squash may help maintain normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improve eye health and assist with weight loss programs.
Heirloom Foods Organic Butternut is grown using heirloom seeds and following bio-dynamic farming principles. Their fresh produce is free of any GMOs, synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers and preservatives.
